Piano sight reading requires a tremendous amount of practice and we don't have a miracle cure.
Instead, the app takes away some of the tedious work, such as checking for mistakes.
Loop mode is just a few clicks away (double-click a note), encouraging systematic practice at one's own pace.
It tirelessly tracks your progress for every single note in the score within its context to visualize that practice pays off (even through those "slow" phases). The color-coded diagram also points out "stumbling blocks" to avoid learning mistakes by repetition, and previous errors are highlighted automatically.
Especially elder people face challenges with conventional printed scores that require high visual acuity. The app was designed from ground up with high magnification in mind, making it usable also on devices with small display.
A MIDI keyboard is required. Most USB-enabled instruments can be plugged directly into a modern Android device via a standard adapter cable, e.g. as used to connect a USB stick. Alternatively, Bluetooth LE may be used.
Built-in scores, equivalent to over 40 printed pages, focus on Bach. Difficulty varies from "Anna Magdalena's notebook (fairly easy)" through Well-tempered Clavier I Preludes (moderate) to the corresponding Fugues (difficult).
Note: The app asks for "Localization" permission, which is required only for Bluetooth LE operation and may be denied otherwise.
